What Forgiveness Means To Me

There are those who are wondering why they can’t manipulate me, when their sleight of mind works so well on other people. It’s because I’m not desperate to be liked by them.

They go playing victim to shit they started then when you stand up for yourself, they come all unglued and give the world a fucking sob story about it.

Now you may question if control freaks or sociopaths or narcissists know how toxic they are. Let me assure you, they know. But they actually believe all their actions are justified, so guilt is never an issue for them. They convince themselves that the pain caused is necessary. What we think is what we feel, yeah? And a toxic person has an astounding ability to lie to herself? A toxic sociopath thinks they’re the victim, so they feel like a victim. They think they’re superior, so they feel superior. They think their entitled, so they feel entitled. Toxic people know full well what they do! They just think and feel they’re correct and justified to harm others, so they have no conscience about it.

However, they do tend to buy into their own masks. They are essentially delusional, so despite the fact that they injure others, they actually believe they’re good people. And they can’t imagine being viewed as anything but wonderful people, even though in reality they’re really cold-blooded beings wearing a mask

And then you find these wankers who say, ‘Oh, you should forgive and forget. If you don’t forgive, you’ll never move forward.’ But forgiveness for me isn’t a conscious decision to let go of resentment. For me, it means that I no longer dwell on what an asshole that person is. It doesn’t mean she’s no longer an asshole!

Sometimes you just have to accept that some people are shitty human beings. That’s what forgiveness means to me
