ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS & FOOD DELIVERY

Those of you who know The Roundhouse (not the one at Chalk Farm, but the one at the Lansdowne, Bournemouth, the one which was the scene of recent peaceful protests in the summer of 2024) will know it's now full of illegal immigrants. It wasn't always that way, of course. It used to be a student HMO house/hotel. 

Anyway, I heard of a geezer who was walking past there recently and with nothing better to do hung about to see what was going on. He said there were at least 40 bicycles parked up. Illegal immigrants are given these for free, of course. And he was amazed to see the illegals coming and going on their free bikes WITH FOOD DELIVERY BAGS ON THEM! They were parking up, going into the hotel while leaving the bag out front on the bike, and eventually returning and cycling off.

So these bastards are actually EARNING ILLEGAL MONEY DELIVERING TAKE-OUT FOOD on their free bikes from food chains, takeaways and restaurants in the Bournemouth area.

Now I know a little bit about this through my work in construction, an industry that employs huge amounts of foreign nationals, and it is totally illegal to employ anyone without first checking their 'Right to Work.' It carries an unlimited fine and up to two years in prison for the employer.

And on a personal basis, I'm not too sure how I feel about an illegal immigrant, with possibly not such a rigid hygiene regimes as you and I are used to, carrying (and possibly handling) my food.
