I will never forget Who Came with a Lamp

Never underestimate your light. It may just have been your light that leads others, like me, out of the darkness.

If you shine your light, the right people will find you.

And never underestimate the power of planting seeds.

Paulo Coelho, the author who wrote that great book ‘The Alchemist’ said, ‘Important encounters are planned by the souls long before the bodies see each other.’

And I kind of like to believe that’s true, although of course I can’t prove it.

Mind you, you can’t prove it’s not true, so …..

So, shine your light, fellow Scamps, shine your light.

That’s what you’re here for.

You have the inspiration of a jester, the soul of a backpacker and the heart of a warrior, and you’ve already done much better than you appreciate. You’re supported more than you realise. You’re in spitting distance now, just around the corner

Each and every one of us is a work of art. Not everyone’s going to accept you, but the ones who do will never forget you. Come on, admit it, you’re not like the others, are you? And that’s not just okay, it’s fucking beautiful!

Always remember, when you’re stuck between two planets, the only thing you can do is try something absurd.

Know that there is a savage and noble heritage inside of you with all the power of a light snowfall in high places; a snowfall that will melt to form a spring that becomes a small stream and gradually gets bigger as the spring meltwater adds so much water that the main river overflows its banks and floods the surrounding landscape. Carefree Scamps should listen to the light snowfall of their ancestry, and you may just hear a river start.
