A Ripple – A Possibility – A Miracle

You know they say that when a butterfly flaps its wings a breeze goes around the world? And I get that. In other words, the flap of a butterfly's wings in Brazil can set off a tornado in Texas. I truly understand that. Life is so chaotic and unpredictable that if a butterfly flaps it's wings at just the right time and in just the right place, it can cause a hurricane thousands of miles away.

It's a fascinating concept, although I don't believe chaos theory is truly about chaos. It's about how a tiny change in a big system can affect everything. One small action can create a ripple leading to unpredictable things. So a simple act of kindness, for instance, can set off a wave and make a huge difference.

But think on this for a minute: Supposing that when you speak the particles that begin vibrating can affect a molecule inside a star at the edge of eternity.

Now I can't prove it ..... but then again, you can't prove it's not true.
